The next day
I’d like to fly over the countryside. Sometimes I dream of painting :from a spaceship.
The sky isn’t very nice but I’m on a sort of jetty between vines and pines.. Opposite, the magnificent and mystical and wild Luberon.
Salomé is getting closer to the heart of my work. She’s already understood that the essential isn’t visible to the eye.. She loves St Exupery’s story of the Little Prince.
I finish this first painting and immediately want to make a sketch in order to free the tension in my wrists. Sportsmen call that “clean out”.
